Csámborgó Band

The Csámborgó Band was formed by Antal Kánnár and János Juhász (sültü - six-hole flute, kaval - five-hole long-flute) és Viktor Wallon-Hárs (kobza, vocals) in 1997 with the goal to play the archaic music of the csángó people (Hungarian minorities in Transylvania), and to propagate it in so-called 'dance houses'. Shortly after Tibor Botlik (drum) joined, and this formation worked for some years. Later our drummer was substituted by various session musicians, but sometimes we play in the original (and most powerful) formation, too (see the image above).
